I was drying wool on my backporch (like i always do) and apparently my wool is really lovely and soft and bedlike...because these cute little guys invaded... i'm sure hoping their mommy comes back to feed them soon.
i'm not much of an expert, but it looks to me like they are at least a week old, so maybe the momma was moving them from somewhere else. wool would make a good nest though...
So you're prepared, and don't freak like I did, mother rabbits only feed their young once or twice a day. I learned this when they nested in my perennial garden. It freaked me out at first, but mother bunnies apparently have a very rich milk that lasts the little grubbers for a day or so. We ended up with four very healthy grown bunnies in the end, in spite of my neurosis that she was starving them.
