cold and snowy

well...i think winter has finally set in. we had a beautiful long fall but it seems to finally be over. Winter has started with a vengence. It is very windy and cold and nasty.

A great day to stay inside and spin and dye stuff. I am done with my new yarn creation. Still deciding what to call it. I've gotten some great suggestions. Too many great suggestions. It's very hard to pick. I'm thinking of making some separately as actual ornaments. I think they would be so cute. Just a little glue and a self-pull ball could be an actual tree ornament! anyway...more to make for sure!

plus of course, i need to dye more wool to spin.

well, i think brenden may actually be potty trained. things are going pretty well. he has some funny "hives" like looking bumps on one arm this morning. very strange.

how was your thanksgiving?

Hey--
how was your thanksgiving? Mine was fine. We're staying home for Christmas though.

I had a performance in Hill City today. It went very well and I sold a couple of CDs. I'm thinking I need to give in and make the Christmas one I've been planning for several years. I could have sold about 10 today alone!

got lots of "gift pack" book lots listed on ebay! things are moving right along! We're hoping they'll sell really well....I have about 3 skeins left in my ornament *yarn bouquet*. I don't know if i should really call it that. there is a preview below. Any suggestions? anyway...

lots to do...happy days!

SNEAK PREVIEW

my next "Yarn Bouquet" won't really be a bouquet...it's going to be a fabulous basket of holiday ornaments. This is the first five little self-pull balls! Aren't they neat!!! Posted by Picasa

ebay stuff...

i have two *yarn bouquet*s currently out on ebay. i am working on a christmas one. it is super pretty...green and red and little bits of white. all in a very pretty snowflake container that say "merry christmas" on it. i am madly dyeing. i'll have to post pics of some of my dyeing. it is cool. i like the jacquard dyes i got. i need more colors.

if you're interesting in buying a *yarn bouquet* check on my auctions at
http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZcastlemanQ2espf

i'm thinking of selling *yarn bouquet* spinning kits. so you would get about 15 little rovings to spin which would produce a coordinated kit of yarns to knit...etc.

what do you think?

Oops...rita can't count

apparently not...there are actually 13 skeins of yarn in "Harvest Thanks" *YARN BOUQUET*. I've been madly dyeing with my new jacquard dyes that I bought. They produce very nice bright colors as you can see. Natural dye season is sort of over for me...I'm trying to get enough dyed for Chistmas Yarn Bouquets, which is quite a lot actually...

what do you think?
