Are you simmering the mordanted wool in the dye pot or just soaking them in the jars of the dye? The natural dyes (plant based) seem to need the simmering time and seem to do best if pre-mordanted. But I could be wrong.
the silk is premordanted...just like all the rest of the silk i've dyed...nothing changed that i can see...oh well!
I hate to say it but it looks like you are tanning cat hides.
it looks better all dry and stuff!
