Ravelry is evil

It is...it eats up my life. slowly in bits, my life is disappearing into the morass that is ravelry. some days i don't get dressed. I have almost stopped blogging, i need to dye more, spin more and instead...i ravelry more. ACK. HELP!

you need to set a time limit there each day. say an hour and thats all - i know its not long enough especially when you find lots of great things to look at - but thats what I do otherwise id be like you ;)

I know exactly what you mean. If you ever find a solution, let me know. But by the time someone finds a way out, they will add another cool feature and re-ensnare us all.

The solution is to take a break from it, cold-turkey, which I did when I was out of town last week and had little time on the 'puter. Now that I'm back, I'm getting sucked back in, somewhat, but hopefully not as much....

One of my friends just got her invite, and we've talked about the spiffiness of Ravelry (I'm snarlingbadger there) - she thinks someone should make a similar site for sewing, so she can catalog her fabric stash, as she's currently in the process of doing her yarn stash.
