my front yard today

 

sock yarn

this is my other gorgeous sock yarn. It is dyed using Jacquard blue, green and violet. I LOVE it. along with the fall tones below I may have to knit myself and my loved ones socks. I really do love these colors and the way this method turns out such gorgeous stuff.

I've been playing with new dyeing methods for yarn...I have happened on an absolutely gorgeous method. I'm not sharing the method yet but I have some amazing results to show! These are both sock yarn. I'm not sure I'll sell either of them. I love them SO much!


This yarn is dyed with jacquard dye. It is done using Salmon, Chestnut brown and Aztec Gold.

TWO down

YAY...two skeins (10.9 ounces) down...a lot to go. The great thing is Marie (the owner of said yarn) sent me an email and said she's happy with the color. Yes. I was worried about that a bit. anyway, just almost half done.

it's more purple than it looks...This first skein weighs about 5 ounces...YAY! One down, about 5 to go...

finally all dyed and carded...WOW. and now...to start spinning! Only one day late!

I'm calling this CITRUS SHOES...I know it's nutty but i just couldn't resist the idea.
