Berry Blue Posted by Hello

yarn and stuff

HAPPY ST. PADDY'S DAY!!
what a week...sales are going sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooowly. BUT I have a performance this weekend in Vermillion. You should come and see me...we'll have corned beef and cabbage and soda bread and potatoes and such....it'll be fun! I can't wait to see people...

I have spun an interesting sort of greeny-blue color that Amanda (my 12 year old) dyed. I'm going to do one more skein and then put it out. Berry Blue is going up for auction very soon. I now have two skeins and they are pretty...Eastery, springy colors.

so check in on my auctions if your interested. we have lots of d&d stuff up too....

cool new limey green poofy yarn!

Ok---
so I was spinning and I sort of forgot what I was doing and as a result one half of the spindle was full of very fine singles and the other was sort of thick and thin singles. Now I was going for two ply so in spite of my error I plied it....so cool. the thin created this slightly poofy look in the thick areas and then with the thin sections of course the yarn is very, very thin.....it is so cool!

anyway...I dyed some more silk...some is yarn dyed and neat and some is dyed in the roving and really neat. can't wait to spin it....

what have you been doing???????

spindles coming soon

I've been working on a bunch of spindle whorls. In all different kinds of styles. Look for pictures soon. I've had a good week selling. If you're interested in books or yarn or spinning check out my auctions at

Hasn't been exactly my best week. My 11 year old son ran away last night. The police returned him home at 3am. what a night! Somedays are not the best. I've been dyeing a lot so I guess I need to get spinning. I have a concert this weekend. YEAH!!!!

country songs

Ok--
my husband and i have a new theory. All country songs are really about dolly parton's breasts. "islands in the stream" and so forth

and, have you ever considered how much dating and stalking are similar...all except that you like one and don't like the other???

any bizarre thoughts?????
